Christmas Newsletter

Dear Parents,

Christmas Performances – I am sure that you all enjoyed the brilliant Foundation Stage Christmas production as much as I did! …  May I remind you that if you have taken any photographs, these are to remain for your own personal use and not published on any website such as Facebook, Twitter or You-Tube.  The few photographs taken by us will appear on our website and/or Facebook page you will be able to view them if you ‘like’ our page.

Holiday dates – Sessional care finish on Friday 19 December.  Daycare finish on Tuesday 23 December.  Daycare return on Monday 5 January and sessional care return on Tuesday 6 January.  If your child attends both daycare and sessional care, please remember only their daycare sessions will be available on Monday 22 December, Tuesday 23 December and Monday 5 January.

Christmas Party and raffle – Our Christmas Party will take place on Monday 22 December 10am until 12.00 noon.  All children are invited.  Please bring your child to their room as usual.  We will be having treats at the party, fun, games, dancing and maybe a visit from someone in a red suit…?  Please pick your child up from their usual room at 12 unless they usually stay for their daycare morning or full day.  The raffle letter and tickets went into the drawers this week, please return all named stubs by Friday 19 December, when we will be drawing the raffle.

Staffing – Louise Morley has settled in really well, from January she will have a group of her own in addition to working with other groups by planning activities for children and supporting the staff with assessment.

Learning Journeys – Over the Christmas break we would like you to add photos, anecdotes and comments to the page will be sending home. This will then be added to your child’s Learning Journey when you bring it back in January.

Christmas Jumpers. –  On Thursday 18th and Friday 19th December staff will be wearing their Christmas Jumpers to get into the Christmas Spirit! Children are welcome to wear theirs too!

May I take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and peaceful (?!?!) new year.

Julie and all the team at Fledglings.
